Being in the field of occupational safety, he believes there is no resource as important as the human and hence have been working not only professionally but also morally by creating awareness in the masses by conducting training at schools and universities.

The OHS Constants Ltd (Dec 2013 – Present), Karachi, Pakistan.
Providing training & consultancy services, performing assessments and reporting, First aid training, Fire Risk Assessment, emergency response planning, warehouse safety assessments
Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducted Risk Assessment of Lifting Equipment project for Pakistan Petroleum Limited, analyzing and providing recommendations for electrical & mechanical hazards, equipment maintenance, falling, noise and vibration hazards.
  • Developing Chemistry Laboratory Safety program, as per international standards for educational institutes to make the laboratories safe for students and teachers. It covers chemical handling, storage, identification and MSDS.
  • Survey and Research on Towards Better Workplace Environment in which workplace practices of individuals are being assessed to determine the levels of work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the workforce. The data is being analyzed to prepare an Occupational Ergonomics program.
  • Conducted Risk Assessment for Demolition Site project for Bin Ladin Group and submitted a detailed report on hazards identified, their associated risks levels and significance along with control measures.
  • Developed Scaffolding Safety training program for Descon staff, working at K-Electric site.
  • Initiated Safety Awareness Program (SAP) for the youth and conducted sessions in educational institutes. The aim of the program was to make the students realize the importance of safety in everyday lives and provide basic action measures in emergency situations.
  • Occupational Safety project for Dawlance Pvt. Ltd covering chemical storage analysis, fire prevention, safety practices during maintenance, mechanical lifting techniques, electrical and transformer safety.
  • Analysis of Occupational Safety in Pakistan’s Cement Industry compiled a report including the major hazards faced by workforce during different stages of cement manufacturing and the safety standards being followed.
